'Maggie'
She was the first of our females and the second Stafford to join our pack.
Maggie made her presence known from the moment she arrived in her new home.
Winston had a toy beaver that we purchased for him before he arrived (and can be seen with him on his bio page) and at six months old it still looked brand new. Maggie took it from him on her first full day with us and destroyed it in 20 minutes. Yes, she had arrived and made sure everyone knew their place.
Her next appearance was at the first breed booster in Camrose in October 2003 where she was to take Best Of Opposite Sex beside Winston.
That was to be her last appearance until she returned to the ring in 2006 for the first Alberta Terrier Breeders Specialty and was again awarded Best Of Opposite Sex this time beside Rubik.
That was Maggie's last visit to the show ring and she has been enjoying her retirement ever since.
Maggie was entered in her first show at Red Deer in March 2003 and took her first points toward her Championship.
It was at Edmonton in April 2003 under International Judge, Paula Heikkinen-Lehkonen of Finland, that Maggie was awarded Best Of Breed, Best Puppy In Group and attained her Canadian Championship at eight months of age.
Although Maggie finished her Championship with fewer appearances than her half brother, Winston, she does not enjoy the show ring and it was decided that her career in show business would be limited.
